Super Eagles and Leicester City center-back Ashleigh Plumptre, has reacted after scoring her first goal of the season, in Leicester’s 4-0 win over Liverpool in the Barclays Women’s Super League games over the weekend.
Plumptre netted their third goal through a swift corner kick, making it her first goal for the Season and her first goal in the King’s Power Stadium.
Reacting to her goal, Plumptre said that she’s proud of her team and their performance at the game, and also, she’s excited to score her first at the King’s Power Stadium. She also praised the fans for their Unwavering Support.
“Proud of this group for the performance, clean sheet, and more importantly, the result. Nice to get my first goal at King Power too. To the fans, thank you – you were incredible. We move,” she said after the game
