Music star, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has been taken into police custody for interrogation and other investigative activities regarding the death of his former signee, Mohabd.
This news was confirmed by Lagos State Police Command PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin via his X (formerly Twitter) handle.
SP Hundeyin had posted:
“Azeez Fashola otherwise known as Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation…#justice4Mohbad #justiceforMohbad.”
Hundeyin’s post is coming after the Marlian Music boss had aslo taken to X to announce return to the country on Tuesday, October 3.
Prior to these developments, Naira Marley has consistently denied the allegations and claims that he has been responsible for the death of Mohbad, reiterating that regardless of their fallout in 2022, him and the record label had wished him no ill will.
