Keme Azorbor, a popular armed robber, who terrorized the residents of Yenogoa in Bayelsa has finally been caught and arrested by the police in Bayelsa. Asinim Butswat the public relations officer of Bayelsa state police made this revelation In a Statement.
According to Butswat he wasn’t just arrested but was also found with a locally made gun. He was caught, on a clearance operation on Sunday by the anti-kidnapping unit at Otiotio road. The Police have been on the lookout for Azorbor, for the various armed robbery operations said to be spearheaded by Azorbor. His accomplices have gone into hiding, and the police are still on the lookout for them.
“The suspect was searched and a locally made pistol loaded with one live cartridge was recovered from him.
“He has confessed to the level of his involvement in various armed robbery cases being investigated against him and his cohorts, now at large.”
The residents of Yenogoa must be rejoicing now as they can finally live in peace. The Police should be applauded for this wonderful feat.
