Nigeria’s NPF, Nigeria Police Force, has apprehended vice principal, Enoch Kwaleji, for reportedly defiling a 13-year-old pupil in his school in Adamawa State.
Kwaleji, a resident of Sangere, Jabbi-Lamba, in the Girei Local Government Area and the vice principal of Government Girls Secondary School, -GGSS, Abba-Murke, had allegedly coaxed the minor into an uncompleted building where he sexually assaulted her.
The spokesperson for the Adamawa State Police Command, SP Suleiman Nguroje who confirmed the incident had also said that Kwaleji had been taken into custody.
In Nguroje’s words, “The Adamawa State Police Command on 20/11/2022 apprehended the 52 years old man for raping 13 years old in Sangere Jabbi-Lamba, Girei Local Government Area. The suspect, Enoch Kwaleji, was said to have on the 15/11/2022 at about 7pm, lured the victim to an uncompleted building and forcefully had undue carnal knowledge of her.”
The victims mum had then reported the act to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Jabbi-Lamba.
The Commissioner of police has already directed the officer in charge of Family unit to take over investigations and ensure that the suspect is diligently prosecuted.
