Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, is once again entangled in a conflict with his partners.

In a now-deleted Instagram story post, the street musician explained why he prefers his wife, Bewaji, over the other women in his life.

Portable provided this answer in response to those who questioned him about taking his first wife, Bewaji, to London.

The artist emphasised how Bewaji helped him while he was struggling and had nothing.

He pondered why he would abandon her now that he had money, emphasising that the only reason ladies are following him right now is his wealth.

He also revealed how Bewaji changed her father’s name and adopted his as a symbol of her devotion and love for him.

He wrote, “To those people wey dey talk shit under my comment section say why be say na my first wife I wan carry go London. Una no, see my papa’s name on her name?

“Na man I be, man of myself.
Anyhow I be man of myself, anyhow he be,
I no fit forget woman wey put my papa name on her passport.
She’s my tomorrow. If any woman wants to follow me to London, you need to be among my tomorrow.
My papa name go dey inside your international passport. I go by the name, Okikiola Habeeb Badmus.
Tell those ladies make them edit.
If you wan carry woman japa tell her to put my papa’s name on her passport. That’s all”.
