Controversial street-pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has declined a ₦100 million proposal to engage in a physical fight with outspoken social media critic Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), insisting he would only accept the challenge for a ₦1 billion payout.
The disagreement between the singer and the online commentator escalated after Portable publicly criticised VeryDarkMan for attacking President Bola Tinubu and his administration.
Since then, both men have continued to trade verbal jabs and diss tracks, keeping their feud in the public eye.
In a video posted on Instagram, Portable dismissed the ₦100 million offer, claiming the amount was far too small considering what he regularly receives from his fans.
“That N100m, my fans give it to me. N100m is small for me to fight VDM. Let them give me one billion, I will fight him and beat him,” he declared.
He further challenged the seriousness of the offer and questioned those urging him to fight someone they themselves fear.
“If anybody can drop N1 billion, I will fight him. Someone you can’t hold, you are now asking me to fight and beat him. You are scared of him, you can’t jail him,” Portable added.
The call for a high-stakes fight has sparked further conversations online, adding fuel to an already fiery rivalry that continues to unfold across social media platforms.
