Nigerian singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has issued a heartfelt apology to Ogun governor Dapo Abiodun for his misconduct towards some state officials.
Notably, Portable and some of his associates were involved in an altercation with Ogun government officials. His uncompleted hotel was allegedly marked and sealed by the authorities.
The Zazu crooner, who had stayed out of the spotlight since the incident, shared a video collage on social media on Tuesday to seek the government’s forgiveness.
The singer referred to himself as a federal government liability, stating that a lion cannot devour another lion but can only intimidate its kind.
In one of the videos, Portable urged Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to intervene and appeal to the Ogun governor on his behalf.
The music star sang and prayed for Dapo Abiodun, urging him to let go of any displeasure.
He partly said, “After God Na Government, I Don dey humble, President Tinubu, help me beg Gov Dapo Abiodun to forgive me, I’m sorry”
