President Tinubu appoints Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff

Femi Gbajabiamila, has reportedly been appointed as the Chief of Staff to the President.

Gbajabiamila was introduced by the President as his Chief of staff, in the meeting with the Service chiefs at Aso Rock. The Speaker of the House of Representatives will have to forfeit his election into the House of Rep.

This might probably be the reason why he refused to receive his certificate of return by INEC. His appointment was announced by Olarewaju Smart Wasiu, speaker to Gbajabiamila, who revealed that Femi was picked after hours of meeting and consultations with stakeholders. Although the presidency is yet to formally announce this, an official announcement should be made about this soon.

Reacting to this news, some netizens are of the opinion that he was aware that he’s going to be appointed, that was why he hasn’t received his certificate of return, which he should have.

The new president is wasting no time, in executing all his plans, including the necessary appointments, Nigerians are waiting for him to unveil his cabinet of ministers, subject to the approval of the national assembly.

Despite the whole brouhaha with the fuel issue, some people are of the opinion that every of Tinubu’s plans will favour Nigerians.
