Paris Saint-Germain have pulled out of the chase for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, with Real Madrid now considered the favourites for the French international.
It’s reported from France that PSG has no intention of meeting Bayern’s claimed €200m price tag for the 24-year-old and wants to adopt a more sustainable transfer approach going forward.
Having spent huge sums on players like Neymar and Lionel Messi, sporting director Luis Campos wants to target bright young talents rather than established big-name players for PSG this summer.
But Los Blancos are firmly in the race to sign Olise following his excellent form for Bayern, in which he scored 22 goals and provided 31 assists for them in the recently concluded campaign.

Florentino Perez is thought to see Olise as the perfect partner for his current top transfer target, Kylian Mbappe.
Olise is also reportedly favouring a move to Santiago Bernabeu, having already discussed life in Madrid with French team-mates Kylian Mbappé and Aurélien Tchouaméni. However, Bayern Munich may try to hold onto one of their best performers even with the interest of Madrid.
Talks may well prove tricky even though Olise has already stated his desire to move to Spain. It’s now likely PSG will turn its attention to other Ligue 1-based young talents.
