The death of one of the most brilliant voices within the reggaeton genre shook the world of the music industry once again. El Taiger, known for his contagious energy and passion for music, has tragically passed away at the age of 37. The popular singer breathed his last on Thursday, October 10, 2024.
On the 3rd of October, the police responded to a call and found El Taiger in his black Mercedes SUV with a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed immediately to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where doctors fought hard to save his life. He underwent surgery, being put on life support, but his injuries were too great. His family announced the death in an Instagram post, “El Taiger has been reunited with his beloved mother in heaven”.
His family was thankful for the effort put in by the medical team at Jackson Memorial, asking his fans to remember him for the joy he brought through music. “This is a shocking and heartbreaking moment,” the statement read. “But we ask everyone to honor El Taiger’s memory by celebrating the joy he brought to so many.”
His death has cast his fans into mourning because he was an artist who brought them joy.
