Despite the four points garnered from the matches played in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, Nigeria’s Super Eagles remain at 39th position in the latest rankings released by FIFA. The Super Eagles will, however, have another opportunity to climb up the ladder when they play against Libya in their next AFCON qualifying matches in October.
