Nigerian billionaire businessman and politician, Senator Ned Nwoko, has allegedly been linked to the arrest of Ann, a close friend of his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels.
Ann was reportedly taken into custody on Monday in Lagos State by officers attached to the Ajah Police Division.
The development was made public by Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sammy, who shared a video of the arrest on Instagram. According to him, the police arrived with a court order authorising Ann’s detention over allegations of conspiracy, assault and theft.

Questioning the basis of the arrest, Sammy insisted that Ann had no personal dealings with the senator and had never visited his residence. He expressed frustration over what he described as a miscarriage of justice.
“There was no time Ann was ever at Ned’s house. So how is there a court order to detain her for conspiracy, theft, and all? Omo. Nigeria has failed us,” he said.
Reports indicate that the arrest of individuals linked to Regina Daniels began about two months ago, following the actress’s public allegations against the senator, including claims of abuse and domestic violence.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from Senator Ned Nwoko or the police regarding the incident.
