International superstar Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often known simply as Rihanna, is celebrating 20 years in the music industry and shared an emotional message expressing gratitude to her fans, family, and collaborators.

In a post on X on Saturday, the Barbadian singer reflected on her journey since leaving home two decades ago to release her debut music project.

“Twenty years ago, I left my country, my culture, my food, and family to embark on a journey that started with the release of my very first body of music.

“So many of you were a part of my life and career since the very beginning, and some of you have joined the adventure along the way. I’m forever grateful to all of you,” she wrote.

The 36-year-old, who has sold over 250 million records worldwide, praised her fans, credited her family as her strongest support system, and acknowledged the executives, DJs, producers, writers, choreographers, designers, and others who helped shape her career.

“I thank God, He’s been very generous to me and the glory belongs to Him,” she added.

Rihanna first rose to international fame in 2005 with her debut single, Pon de Replay, and has since become one of the world’s best-selling artists. She has earned nine Grammy Awards, set multiple Billboard chart records, and created a billion-dollar empire with her Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty brands.
