The Rivers State Police Command has killed Nkem ThankGod, a.k.a. “2man,” a notorious kidnapper and cult leader, during an intelligence-led operation in Ahoada East on December 5, 2024. The 42-year-old suspect was behind several murders, including police officers, Shell employees, and a youth president.
Police recovered two AK-47 rifles, five magazines, and 22 rounds of live ammunition. While his gang members escaped with injuries, efforts are underway to track them down.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Mustapha Mohammed Bala, reiterated the commitment of the command in combating crime and dismantling criminal networks in the state.
