Adebanji Alabi, the Alawe of Ilawe-Ekiti and former chairman of the Ekiti state council of traditional rulers, has called out to the state Governor, Biodun Oyebanji to help fix a portion of the Ado Ekiti Ilawe-Ekiti road which is in a very bad state.
According to him, the road has become a death trap and motorists passing that route are always afraid, the road has been in such a condition for about four months, he further pleaded with Governor Oyebanji to direct his contractors who are already working on a failed drainage in another part of the road to focus attention on repairing the road, considering the huge hole on it.
“It has brought untold hardship and agony to the people of the town and all motorists plying the route”.
“to direct the site contractor to immediately commence work on the big gulf which has become a death trap”.
This speech was delivered in Ilawe-Ekiti at the dinner which Oba Adebanji organized for Emininent indigenes of the town on Monday, details of it were released to news respondents by the Oba’s media Adviser, Chief Ajibade Olubunmi in a press statement.
