The election period is almost upon us, with several illegal activities going on. The commissioner of police of Rivers State has ordered that certain rogues who kidnapped an Atiku Supporter and coerced him to denounce his support for Atiku Abubakar the presidential flag bearer of the people’s Democratic party to be arrested.

In a video that went viral, a middle age man was kidnapped and taken to a secret location, he was then asked to denounce his Support for Atiku, and the man was heard mumbling that he would no longer support Atiku, until Wike the Governor says otherwise.

He said, “From today, I will not support Atiku Abubakar again in Ikwerre local government. Ikwerre local government is the territory of Chief Barr Ezenwo Nyesom Wike until the Governor of Rivers State says otherwise.”

The State Commissioner of Police has said that they’ll be arrested and charged in court if the investigation discovers it’s true because it’s an infringement of his human right

“The CP warned that the act is in contravention of his fundamental human rights, the provision of section 128 (b) of the 2022 Electoral Act.”

“Therefore those arrested will be investigated and if found culpable will be charged to court accordingly
