For a while now, there have been reports that Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United due to the failure of the team to qualify for the premier league. Many people thought that several big clubs will be bidding for the five times Ballon D’or winner, but the reverse is the case as most big teams do not seem too interested in the player.
Speaking on this, Oliver Khan, Bayern Munich CEO has said that Cristiano Rolando cannot suit into their system in Bayern, despite admitting that he considers him one of the greatest footballers to ever exist, the club isn’t considering signing him.
“We discussed Cristiano Ronaldo internally. I consider him one of the greatest footballers
“Then we concluded that, despite our appreciation for Cristiano, he would not fit into our philosophy in the current situation”
Ronaldo is very eager to leave Old Trafford, there were speculations that he has been in contact with Athletico de Madrid and Chelsea, but it seems these teams are not interested in signing him.
