Nigerian rapper Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, otherwise known as Ruggedman recently revealed why he ceased supporting activist VeryDarkMan. First, Ruggedman supported VeryDarkMan when the latter was concerned with identifying business people selling products with fake NAFDAC numbering.
However, Ruggedman change his support when VeryDarkMan started to cross the boundaries of privacy of individuals especially women. Ruggedman feels this change dampens activism and deviates from the main goal.
He accused VeryDarkMan of using insult instead of responding to criticisms, citing instances of Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh were involved in the issues. Ruggedman concluded that although VeryDarkMan was helpful at the beginning he cannot endorse his current approach.
