Yevgeny Prigozhin, the prominent Russian mercenary chief, was identified as a passenger on a private jet that tragically crashed north of Moscow, as per Russia’s aviation authority, Rosaviatsia, reported by the TASS news agency.
Rosaviatsia announced the launch of an investigation into the crash involving an Embraer plane in the Tver region. The passenger list revealed the presence of Yevgeny Prigozhin.
An earlier report from TASS indicated that ten individuals lost their lives in the crash. The private jet, traveling from Moscow to St Petersburg, carried seven passengers and three crew members.
