Russian drones have killed three people in Ukraine’s south and north on Friday, March 8, while a missile strike a day had previously killed two and wounded dozens more, according to reports by local authorities.
The missile strike on Thursday had destroyed a hospital, an emergency medical care centre, and a water utility in the northern city of Sumy, sharing borders with Russia, the regional military administration reported on Friday.
Two people were killed and 26 were reported wounded from the assault, of whom six were still in hospitals.
On Friday afternoon, a civilian car was reportedly hit by a kamikaze drone in Kharkiv region, instantly killing a man and a woman.
Another drone also hit a village in the southern Kherson region and a woman died due to it. These incidences were announced by the regional governor via Telegram, a messaging app.
All three regions usually come under Russian drone and missile assault.
Meanwhile, Moscow has denied intentionally targeting civilians, though many have been slain in frequent air strikes across Ukraine in the course of the two year war.
