Umar Sadiq has already started performing wonders in his new club as he scored a goal in his team’s 1-1 draw against Athletico Madrid in Saturday’s match.
The super Eagles striker only just got signed by Real Sociedad from Almeria this summer and has already started showing that he’s worth every dime they paid as his transfer fee.
Sadiq was introduced to the game in the second half and scored immediately to equalize for Sociedad as Athletico Madrid was leading the game by 1-0 scored by Alvero Morata. Sadiq could have scored another goal, but Athletico Madrid’s keeper Jon Oblak denied him access.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw, as both teams failed to score again leaving Real Sociedad as 8th on the La Liga table with seven points.
