The world cup started for England well, as the three Lions humiliated Iran 6-2 in the 2022 world cup in Qatar.
Jude Bellingham, scored the first goal, in the 35th minute putting The Three Lions of England in the lead.
Saka and Raheem Sterling tripled their lead before the break.
After the break, England continued their goal-scoring spree, as Saka scored another goal to make it 4-0. Mehdi Taremi managed to score for Iran making it 4-1. Marcus Rashford thrashed Taremi’s effort as he scored in the 71st minute making it 5-1. Jack Grealish sealed England’s win by scoring the sixth goal in the 90th minute.
Taremi later scored the second goal for Iran making it 6-1. England started the world cup on the right foot.
