Villarreal and Cadiz clashed at the Nuevo Mirandilla today, it ended in a goalless draw.
Samuel Chukwueze, super eagles player was in action for Villarreal today, he came in at the 83rd minute, which gave him less time to effect a change in the game. He only managed to handle five touches, and couldn’t accurately make good passes, which is a ‘not so good performance for a winger as tricky as Chukwueze on the pitch.
Villarreal did put an impressive front, as they pressed and pressed on Cadiz’s goalkeeper but they just were not lucky today, Nicolas Jackson managed to fire a shot, but unfortunately, it was caught by the goalkeeper.
Cadiz also could not register any goals, as the both team scored zero goals. Villarreal remains 7th on the La Liga table with 11 points, while Cadiz are in the 19th place with just four points.
