Saudi Arabia is looking to add one more global superstar to their rapidly growing football league, and now it has turned their attention to Egyptian Salah and Vinicius Junior, two of the most marketable names in world football. As both players encounter difficult times at their respective clubs, the possibility of huge offers arriving at their doors cannot be ruled out.
At Liverpool, Salah’s position has changed quite dramatically this season. Initially, after a massive Saudi offer was turned down early in the year and a new two-year contract was signed, his performance has been unconvincing, and manager Arne Slot recently decided not to include him in the starting lineup.

There is a notion within the club that this may well be the last season that the 33-year-old will wear the red jersey at Anfield. If that is the case, then Saudi clubs, particularly Al Hilal and Al-Qadsiah, are prepared to offer a package as outrageous as £150 million per year to get him to the Middle East.
This is not the case for Vinicius Junior, who continues to affirm his loyalty to Real Madrid, but the atmosphere has changed behind the scenes under the guidance of the new coach, Xabi Alonso. He is going to have only one more year in his contract after the 2026 World Cup, and the Saudi people are getting ready to confront him with the challenge of testing his determination. To my knowledge, he may get an offer that is more lucrative than Salah’, and the reason for that Al Ahli is the one that is leading the way.
Saudi Arabia’s next global icon may soon be on the horizon.
