Gospel singer Frank Edwards has cautioned against excessive spending in an effort to imitate his charitable deeds.
Edwards, via Facebook, highlighted that his financial strength and business ventures allow him to assist others.
He warned fans against depleting their savings to assist others, noting that they may lack the same financial stability or guidance.
The singer particularly advised those just starting out in life to focus on achieving stability before taking on the responsibility of helping others.
He wrote: “For those following me i need to sound you this warning! Don’t say Frank Edwards empowers people, gives a lot … and you go and start doing the same thing with your little savings .. you don’t know how many businesses i own , you don’t know how long I’ve been working, you don’t have the instructions i have ..This is specifically for those of you trying to kick start your life . DONT EMPTY YOUR SAVINGS.
stand 1st so you are able to carry others. Because i saw a comment that says “sir i am going to empty my savings and help people like you do”, calm down”.
