Former federal lawmaker and entertainment mogul Shina Peller has cleared the air on a now-trending story; he has no connection with the popular TikToker known as Peller.
In a recent interview with Channels TV, Shina finally reacted to the rumors, stating that even though the Professor Peller dynasty is extended and quite popular, the TikTok comedian is not a member of the family. “I have heard of the TikTok star Peller, and a lot of people have asked me if he is my brother,” Shina said. “Professor Peller’s family is quite extended, but I can categorically tell you he’s not a member”.
Shina then went further to explain the etymology of the name, “‘Peller’ was a name given to our father as a magician, and it’s one our family has carried proudly since then. The comedian isn’t family, but he’s clearly smart to use the name to his advantage.
By this, Shina Peller has drawn the line between legacy and imitation, leaving no room for further speculation.
