Haruna Magashi, the vice-presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, has stated that the party will restore peace in the troubled Southern Kaduna state if his party is voted into office.

Omoyele Sowore is the presidential candidate of the party for the election and Magashi made his statement in a late Christmas message to Christians on Thursday, 29 December.

He had then assured the people of Southern Kaduna of Sowore’s readiness to reduce the life-long insecurity that has plagued the area if he is elected the Vice-President of Nigeria, and Sowore, the President of Nigeria.

In his words, “In deciding who you vote for in the upcoming 2023 elections, I urge you to look at your current situation and make sure you vote for those that will change your pitiable condition today for a brighter future.”

“I assure you that voting for the AAC under the leadership of Mr. Sowore will guarantee you a better and prosperous Christmas next year.”

Kaduna is one of the worst-hit states in Nigeria, in terms of terrorist and banditry attacks in Nigeria.
