Toke Makinwa has sent a playful but firm message to her admirers to stop proposing via her work email.

The media personality and entrepreneur took to her Instagram story to share screenshots of marriage proposals she’s recently received, noting that her team also has access to the email address being used. She urged them to apply some discretion.

“Pls tell your uncles to stop spamming my work emails. My entire team has access to it. Some Sunday humour,” she wrote.

This comes shortly after Toke made headlines for saying she’s ready to settle down — even if it means becoming a second, third or fourth wife.

In the latest episode of her podcast, she admitted she’s tired of doing life alone and is now open to polygamous marriage.

In an earlier podcast, she opened up about being single and childless at 40. According to her, if she had remarried, she would probably be divorced again, highlighting how life keeps teaching her lessons. But instead of sinking into self-pity, Toke said she prefers to celebrate her wins and embrace the love she already has around her.
