Teenagers Rob Trader With Toy Gun

A woman named Chioma Nwosu was arrested alongside a 19 year old teenage boy by the Ogun state Police Command for robbing traders with toy guns in Adesan, Mowe, Obafemi Awode L.G.A.

According to the State’s Police Public relations officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, someone called them informing them of the incident, some men were immediately dispatched to the area to confirm, they arrested the two suspects, on searching them for any illegal weapons, they discovered two guys which looked exactly like original pistols. The 19 old teenage boys confessed that it was all Chioma Nwosu’s idea that they carry out the robbery operation to have some money

Oyeyemi said “Upon receiving the distress call, the Divisional Police Officer, Mowe Division, SP Folake Afeniforo, quickly mobilized the division’s patrol team and men of the So Safe Corps to the scene where the two suspects were arrested.

 “On searching them, it was discovered that they came to rob the shop with toy guns that looked perfectly like original pistols. On interrogation, 19-year-old Nweke Joshua informed the police that it was Chioma Okafor who came up with the idea of carrying out the robbery operation for them to have some money.

Oyeyemi also revealed that the State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, has ordered that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, for further investigation.

This is the period to extremely careful, and be vigilant, every suspicious activity should be reported to the nearest Police station.
