Erik Ten Hag, Manchester United manager, believes that world Legendary player, Ronaldo can match up to his last season’s goal record this season.
Even though he couldn’t lead United to the champions league last season, he scored 24 goals for the Red Devils.
Ronaldo registered his 3rd goal for United this season, in their match against Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday. Goals from Diogo Dalot, Rashford, and Ronaldo helped United qualify for the knockout stages in the Europa league.
According to Ten Hag, if you look at all the chances he creates, and the ones the team creates for him, you’ll know that he is still capable of registering above 20 goals this season.
“I think when you collect all the chances he creates, the team creates for him in the last weeks,” Ten Hag told reporters.
“You see he’s still capable of getting in the right positions and he’s still capable of finishing them. I think it’s possible, yeah.
Arsenal Pablo Mari Updates the Public About His Health.
If we can recall, on Thursday we heard the unfortunate news that Pablo Mari, Arsenal’s player on loan to Monza was stabbed by a madman in the supermarket.
Mari who accompanied his family to the supermarket in Milan on Thursday was attacked and stabbed in the back. Five other persons were attacked and one person died.
Mari was immediately scheduled for surgery as they had to construct the injured muscles at the back. After the surgery, Mari took to his social media to update the public about his welfare.
According to Mari, he and his family are fine, he also thanked fans for the support they’ve shown him.
He also sent his condolences to the family of the deceased who died in the attack and also wished the injured ones a quick recovery.
“After the hard moment we experienced yesterday, both my family and I want to communicate that fortunately, we are all fine despite the circumstances,” Mari wrote on Twitter on Friday afternoon.”

Nigeria 2022 Flooding: Abia Records 21 deaths
The Executive Secretary of the Abia State Emergency Management Agency -SEMA, Dr. Sunday Jackson, has confirmed that the state has so far, recorded 21 deaths as a result of the flooding in different communities.
This was made known on Friday, October 28, in Umuahia during the distribution of relief materials to some of the flood victims by the National Emergency Management Agency -NEMA.
Jackson had also said that Abia State was one of the 32 states predicted by the Nigeria Hydrological Services to suffer high probable flood risk.
The disaster had not only claimed 21 lives but several communities had also been ravaged as well as farmlands and the means of livelihood of the victims.
The state had recorded flooding in 16 of the 17 local government areas in Abia.
While commenting on the event, the Director-General of NEMA, Dr. Mustapha Ahmed, commiserated with the Abia government over the flood disaster, saying that the Federal Government could not fully compensate the victims for their trauma-inducing experiences.
The NEMA executive also said that the 2022 Annual Flood Outlook forecasted that 233 LGAs in 32 states and the Federal Capital Territory were within highly probable flood risk areas.
