Over a hundred and eighty Texans, more approximately in the Odessa, a city in Texas have been without water for about a few days as temperatures in the area peaked at 36˚C (or approximately 97˚Fahrenheit).
A large number of people have been without water for days. This came after a major old water line reported to be 60 years old broke. “A lot of people have been unable to flush their toilets”, one resident had reported. The water scarcity had come at the worst possible time for the residents, as the city including a lot of cities all over the country was currently experiencing a suffocating heat wave.
Weather forecasters have the current weather pattern as a “ring of fire”, which was an added factor contributing to the very high-pressure heat, the city of Odessa is experiencing.
Areas under the “ring of fire” dome will be hot and muggy while places near the outer edge of the dome would be seeing a lot more thunderstorms. A huge number of territories in the U.S have been affected in some way by this phenomenal weather pattern with the parts of the South U.S and Midwest facing extreme heat as well.
