The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami has stated that the Electoral Act of 2022 signed by President Muhammadu Buhari in May 2022, has laid the base for free, fair, and credible elections for the General elections to be held on February 25 and March 11, 2023, respectively.
Malami had claimed the 67th session of the State House Ministerial Briefing organized by the Presidential Communications Team, on Thursday, 23 February at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
The AGF had added that the Act encompasses enough legislative, political, and administrative reforms to make sure of a smooth electoral process in the 2023 general elections and other subsequent elections.
