Social media personality Amadou Elizabeth, widely known as Jarvis, has spoken candidly about her mother’s worsening health condition and her fears over how online critics may react if it becomes public knowledge.
In an emotional video shared on X, the TikToker disclosed that her mother is seriously ill, explaining that her greatest concern is not just the illness itself but how social media users might weaponise it against her.
“So my mom is actually sick. What I’m saying is that online is crazy. Tomorrow they might video her in her condition and try to use it against me,” Jarvis said.

She added that this fear has made her protective of her mother’s privacy, stressing that she does not want people to discover her condition and “come and speak against me on social media.”
Addressing possible criticism about her wealth and ability to provide care, Jarvis noted that her mother’s situation has gone beyond what money can fix. According to her, the matter is now spiritual rather than financial.
“Social media will always say, ‘Oh, why didn’t you take care of her? You have all the money, you have everything,” she said, before clarifying that “at this point, money can’t solve it. It’s just God, faith, belief.”
The influencer also paid tribute to her mother’s resilience, describing how she singlehandedly raised the family without support from their father, who is Senegalese.
“I love my mom, and she tried. She tried, like she really tried,” Jarvis said emotionally. “She fought, she defended us without any father’s support.”
She further opened up about her strained relationship with her father, revealing that they lost contact when she was still very young. Jarvis said she has been making efforts to reconnect with him, despite years of silence.
“From the beginning of my birth, he used to call me Aminata, and I just giggled… I was just a little child,” she recalled. “But it got to a point when the whole communication line stopped. Till today, I haven’t heard from him. I’m the one searching. I’ve gone to Senegal. I’m still trying my best.”
The revelation comes shortly after Jarvis confirmed that she had ended her relationship with fellow influencer and livestreamer Hamzat Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, following his car crash during a live broadcast.
