The executive council of Kebbi State was disbanded on Wednesday by Governor Atiku Bagudu. The governor announced that the executive council would be dissolved effective immediately on September 7, 2022. This was said in a statement that Babale Yauri, the State Government’s Secretary, signed. According to the statement, the governor sincerely appreciates the individual efforts of each member of the Cabinet and commended them for their dedication to duty and ensuring peace and stable growth of the state during their various terms in office.
He praised the performance of every member of the disbanded council and said that the new State Executive Council would be unveiled shortly. It was implied in the announcement that some of the disbanded council members might be reappointed
