Mohamed Salah has silenced everyone complaining about his goal drought this season, as he scored three goals for the Reds in their second-leg game against Rangers in the UEFA champions league.
The reds who initially defeated Rangers at Anfield, in their reverse Fixture, thrashed Rangers 7-1 in the second leg. It was as if, Jurgen Klopp’s men were venting their anger over their 3-2 defeat to Arsenal in the EPL on Rangers.
Scott Airfield put Rangers ahead, as he scored the first goal in the 17th minute. Roberto Firmino equalized for Liverpool in the 24th minute. The first half of the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Liverpool reinforced in the second half, as Firmino scored another goal for Liverpool in the 54th minute after receiving an assist from Joe Gomez, and also provided an assist for Darwin Nunez for Liverpool’s third goal. Mohamed Salah bagged a hattrick, after scoring three goals for Liverpool and he also provided an assist for Harvey Elliot who sealed the win by scoring the seventh goal for Liverpool.
Fans have praised Salah for his incredible Performance in the game. Liverpool is to face Manchester City in the EPL this weekend.
