The Big Brother Naija Reality Show returned to the screens of Nigerians (and Africans alike) for the ninth time this year on July 28, 2024. This season titled “No Loose Guard” brought with it, an interesting, never seen before twist in the history of the reality show — coming into the house with a pair. Now, the seasoned reality show watchers know that Big Brother’s twists and gameplay alterations are an avenue to create drama, and entertainment in his house.
While some of the reality show stans are locked and loaded because of the chaos that often ensues in the Big Brother house, others are no doubt in it for the (relation)ships, romance and fashion among the housemates.
For the season nine installment, several housemates have stood out not just for their gameplay but also for their impeccable style. Among them are Anita Ukah and Nelly Mbonu of Team Nelita, Onyeka Chigbo, Kassia Sule, and Victoria Onyenwere. The elegant model brought her fashion A-game to the Big Brother house, serving both her fellow gamers in the house, and the viewers at large style inspiration since day one.
From observing her daily wears and Sunday Live Eviction outfits, one can correctly surmise Anita’s wardrobe as a perfect blend of traditional Nigerian attire and contemporary fashion. Whether she’s donning plain ol’ athleisure wear or opting for a tennis skirt with heels, the model makes sure that her outfits always exude grace and poise.
Nelly Mbonu:
Nelly Mbonu has described herself in the Big Brother house as a chef and entertainer, but she just might be a style maven in the making. For Nelly, bold and daring would perfectly describe her style in the house.

Onyeka Chigbo:
Onyeka Chigbo might be a lawyer, but she doesn’t fail to remind us all that she has baddie tendencies with the way she chooses to style herself. The legal practitioner who also doubles as an entrepreneur brings her extroverted personality to the Big Brother house with her unique and somewhat sexy outfits, often featuring shorts, bodysuits, skin tight dresses, and bold accessories.
Kassia Sule:
Kassia Sule has proven to have an experimental, street-like fashion sense. Only yesterday, she was spotted in the house wearing an exceptional tomboyish denim on denim look. On previous days, she had worn baggy trousers, joggers and cute dresses, depending on her mood.
Victoria Onyenwere:
Victoria Onyenwere made a fashionable statement on the opening night when she wore a stunning traditional yellow lace miniskirt featuring a dramatic tulle on the skirt and yellow flower petals on one of the shoulders of the dress.
A quick glance through her Instagram feed pre- the Big Brother Naija show reveals how stylish the adventurous Victoria is. While in the house, she has kept true to her style, wearing bubble skirts, shorts and tees for leisure.
