The National Population Commission, NPC, has declared that there will be no public holiday during the forthcoming census, slated to be held between May 3 – 7, 2023.
This was because the commission said that everyone living in the country, including foreigners, would be counted in the census as it encouraged people to make themselves available.
The upcoming census exercise will be the first since the 2006 census and the commission has already pledged that the exercise would be done digitally.
