The inquiry was commenced in February 2022 when the first report was handed to the police.Days only after leaving Arsenal as a free agent since the contract ended in June, the police charged Partey with these allegations.

On 2 September he will be back at the Old Bailey for the continuation of the case.Partey, who appeared at the last court in a dark suit and blue jacket, stood in the dock and repeated his name and understanding of the bail conditions.

The conditions of the bail also forbid Partey from meeting the alleged victims and require him to inform the police if he goes abroad or if his address changes.
