The Ogun State Police Command has revealed that three of its Inspectors were apprehended on camera obtaining money by force from commercial motorcyclists.
The officers have been identified by the command and they were: Inspector Ikhanorba Lucky, Inspector Paul Sunday, and Inspector Edwin Ekeogu.
A statement released by Omolola Odutola, the Police Public Relations Officer– PPRO, had disclosed that the Inspectors had on Thursday, October 19, been involved in “an occurrence of professional misbehaviour while on policing duty at Maawu Bus stop in Agbado, Ogun State.
Odutola had in remarked the officers were caught on camera conspicuously extorting money from commercial motorcyclists, going against the Police Act and Regulations.
