Bola Tinubu, in a congratulatory message to Governor Adeleke, has urged him to unify the state.

According to a statement by Tunde Rahman from the Office of the President-elect, Tinubu had congratulated Ademola Adeleke over his declaration by the Supreme Court (the nation’s apex court) as the winner of Osun Governorship election while also commending the immediate-past governor of the state, Adegboyega Oyetola, for exercising his democratic rights as far as the constitution allowed him to do.

According to Tinubu, Governor Oyetola had discharged himself honorably in office even though he lost the office but he had not lost his integrity and reputation as the governor who brought transparency, efficiency, and accountability to governance in the state.
