Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has recounted an emotional journey that led to the restoration of her relationship with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, following nearly ten years of public conflict, silence, and emotional strain.

Sharing the testimony on her official Instagram page on Saturday, the actress attributed the renewed peace between them to divine intervention, describing the reconciliation as something only God could have orchestrated.

According to Dikeh, a situation that once appeared “ugly, impossible, and beyond repair” has now given way to mutual respect and understanding. She explained that the breakthrough did not come through human effort but through spiritual transformation.

“What human effort could not fix, God healed by salvation, humility, and the sincere prayers of a child,” she wrote.

She further stressed that the process was driven by faith, saying it happened “not by might, not by wisdom, not by strength but by the Spirit of the Lord,” adding that God “softens hearts, silences the enemy, and rewrites stories that looked finished.”

Dikeh expressed appreciation to Churchill for choosing peace and submitting to God’s word, noting that obedience often brings restoration, even after prolonged and painful seasons.

In a message to her followers who may be facing similar trials, the actress offered words of encouragement: “God has not abandoned you. Your story is not over. What He has started, He will surely perfect. Keep praying. Keep choosing love. Keep trusting God even when it hurts.”

She also acknowledged her spiritual mentor, stating that the guidance and support she received played a key role in her growth and ability to navigate the challenging chapter of her life.
