Abubakar Muhammad Guri, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of the Police Mobile Force, MPF, has allegedly been found dead in his office.
According to reports on the media, Guri had allegedly slumped and died non Monday, June 3, a few moments after he stepped into his office at the Louis Edet House, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
He had showed no visible signs of ailment, according to those close to him.
Meanwhile, a Tribune report had recounted an eyewitness’s statement on how the deceased DCP had slumped on his seat in his office, in full office uniform. The eyewitness then narrated how the DCO was immediately rushed to the hospital for urgent medical assistance, but he was eventually confirmed dead.
As of press time, there has been no official statement regarding the incident, as arrangements were still being made to brief the family.
