Transfer Round-Up: Wirtz to Liverpool, De Bruyne Joins Napoli, Pogba Eyes Monaco Return

Following the 10-day mini period until the Club World Cup, the transfer window is shut, however, the rumour mill is still on full throttle, with several major moves now confirmed and some still in the process.

Liverpool have agreed a £100 million deal, plus £16 million in add-ons, for Florian Wirtz. The Leverkusen star is expected to sign a five-year contract in the coming days, setting a new club-record fee for the Premier League champions.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid has completed the purchase of Franco Mastantuono from River Plate for €45 million. The 17-year-old Argentine young talent will play in the Club World Cup this summer before moving to Madrid in August.

Going off the front pages, Kevin De Bruyne has officially come to Napoli on a free transfer after parting with Manchester City. The Belgian transfer brings to the Serie A champions lots of experience after Antonio Conte while they gear up for another Champions League campaign.

Leroy Sane has also agreed the terms with Turkish giants Galatasaray to be on a three-year contract after leaving Bayern Munich.

On the other side, Paul Pogba who is still not signed by any club, is said to be negotiating with Monaco about a return to Ligue 1, the talks are reportedly going well.

Brighton have signed Charalampos Kostoulas from Olympiacos for £29.8 million. The 18-year-old Greek forward will join on a five-year deal starting July 1, pending international clearance.

After the conclusion of his loan from Chelsea, Renato Veiga has officially announced that he will not be returning to Juventus.

Also, according to reports, Manchester City have come to a deal with Rosenborg to acquire the signature of their Norwegian youngster, Sverre Nypan.

Speaking of targets, the name of Nico Williams is still at the top of the list for Bayern Munich and Arsenal have also not decided whether to keep an eye on the situation or not.

Besides, Marcus Rashford has already made his intentions known to his agents that his first and foremost desire is a move to Barcelona during the summer transfer window.
