The baton of the office of the Registrar in the university of Ilorin has passed to another, as Mr Mansur Alfanla has been appointed as the Registrar of the University by the University’s Governing Council on Saturday.
Alfanla who currently occupies the position of the Deputy Registrar and Current Secretary of the University’s postgraduate school will assume his new office as Doctor Fola Olowoleni who is the current Registrar’s tenure is to expire in April.
This information was released in a statement by the University’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Kunle Akogin to news respondents on Saturday.
According to him, the selection process was rigorous as the eligibility of the candidates was considered by the Selection Committee.
“With the appointment, Mr. Alfanla is scheduled to become the seventh Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council of the University and the third occupant of the office who passed through the ranks in the administrative cadre of the University before attaining the pinnacle of his career at the same institution.
