The United States Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken had on Wednesday, May 17 announced that the US will be working together with the Nigerian authorities to bring the perpetrators of Tuesday’s deadly attack on a US Embassy convoy in Anambra State to justice.
Recall that yet-to-be-identified gunmen had ambushed a diplomatic convoy carrying US Embassy personnel on a humanitarian mission to Anambra on Tuesday, May 16, killing four people, including two policemen, at the Amiyi-Eke Ochuche axis in the Ogbaru council area.
Thereafter, the victims’ bodies were set on fire by the attackers.
