Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has broken his silence on circulating rumours and unfounded claims linking him romantically with colleague Bambam, describing the allegations as false, malicious, and damaging to his reputation.
The speculation emerged following the massive success of their 2025 YouTube film Love In Every Word, which went viral and sparked conversations across social media.
Shortly after, unverified claims began to surface, suggesting that their on-screen chemistry had triggered tension in Bambam’s marriage to Teddy A.
Reacting strongly, Arukwe revealed that he has identified a particular social media account responsible for pushing the narrative and has commenced steps to hold the person accountable. He warned that legal action would follow, stressing that defamatory conduct would no longer be tolerated.
He wrote, “A specific account has been identified to spread false rumors and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry. I choose not to quote the account directly, as I refuse to give such accounts the engagement they seek at the risk of jail time.”
Issuing a firm warning, the actor added, “Believe me when I say this: that individual will be made a scapegoat so others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout and Elon Musk money at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation.”
Meanwhile, discussions around Bambam and Teddy A’s marriage have continued online, with some users speculating that her acting roles may be contributing to alleged strain in the relationship. Bambam has largely avoided addressing the claims directly, instead sharing a brief video message on social media.
On his part, Teddy A has responded to resurfaced allegations of domestic violence, firmly denying them and maintaining that the claims are false.
