Having put several celebrities on the hot seat for some time now, social media critic VeryDarkMan has accused Ubi Franklin, talent manager to Chioma, wife of singer Davido of defrauding a businessman of ₦10 million. In a video shared on Instagram, he accused Franklin of using Chioma’s name to secure the funds in June 2024, failed to fulfill the business agreement.
To confirm his allegations, VeryDarkMan posted audio conversations between Franklin and the businessman, detailing the promises that were never fulfilled. He gave him 72 hours to repay, he wrote, “@Davido, I cannot understand how Ubi Franklin, a manager under 30BG, is out here scamming people.”
According to VeryDarkMan, this is not the first time such allegations have been leveled against Franklin, as similar claims were previously reported involving the name Davido. Franklin is yet to respond to allegations.
