Nigerian social media critic VeryDarkMan has reacted strongly to a viral video involving Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, in which she was seen conducting a deliverance session for a student during a school outreach.
The actress had earlier shared footage from her weekly charity visit to a school, where she prayed for a student she claimed had been delivered from spiritual bondage.
During the outreach, she said God had rescued her from the “Marine world” and was now using her to help others experience similar deliverance.

However, VeryDarkMan criticised the act, claiming the school where the event took place is one of the institutions he personally renovated. The activist expressed displeasure, saying he would not tolerate children being used for what he described as inappropriate content.
“Tonto Dike, I don’t want to have any problem with you. The school you came for your ‘deliverance’ is in my hood. I will not allow you to be carrying children to do the nonsense you are doing. Is it only poor man’s children who have witchcraft? You can never use rich men’s children to do your content. Go and deliver your child. We were the ones who renovated that school,” he said.
VeryDarkMan also stated that he invested heavily in the renovation of the school and questioned the authenticity of the deliverance carried out on the student.
“I spent over N30million to complete the project. Don’t do that. What did you deliver that girl from? I am not joking. You said God called you. Have you apologised for the group chat you created to frame Naira Marley? Have you apologised for what you did to Naira Marley? Go and deliver your son,” he added.
The viral exchange has sparked mixed reactions online, with many social media users debating the appropriateness of the actress’s actions during the school visit.
