Controversial social media personality VeryDarkMan has once again ignited widespread conversation online with the release of a scathing diss track directed at multiple public figures.
In the newly released track, the outspoken commentator took aim at Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, singer Portable, and renowned cleric Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.
Referencing Governor Okpebholo’s recently leaked West African Examination Council (WAEC) results, which reportedly reflect poor academic performance, VeryDarkMan didn’t hold back in his criticism.
“E8, WAEC result of a governor. INEC, shame on you,” he rapped, calling out the electoral body for allowing a candidate with such grades to run for public office.
He also reignited his long-standing rift with street-hop artist Portable, making mention of a past incident involving an alleged tricycle theft, which reportedly led to the singer being physically assaulted and briefly detained.
The diss track didn’t spare religious figures either. VeryDarkMan ridiculed Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, taking shots at his widely publicized “healing water” and other spiritual items. He alleged that the clergyman exploits vulnerable followers seeking miracles.
The release of the track has since triggered divided opinions on social media.
While some hailed VeryDarkMan’s fearlessness in speaking out against what he perceives as societal flaws, others argued that he may have crossed the line by publicly attacking individuals and institutions.
