Social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, alias Verydarkman, VDM, has begun a process of trying to recover the sum of ₦180 million stolen from his NGO. On December 27, he reported that his account was hacked; on December 29, he announced that his team has already been able to recover ₦78 million.
He is now traveling to Ghana with his team to continue the investigation, which involves hackers from different countries, including the U.S. and Nigeria.
In a recent video, VDM insinuated that there might have been an insider involved in the leak and promised to expose everyone behind the hack. Despite the stress, he thanked those who reached out to support him.
